Lead Engineers Baggage Systems
Salary: £35K +

Based in Heathrow Airport
We are looking to recruit Test and Commissioning Engineers to work on Baggage Systems and Conveyors at Heathrow Airport. We need people with strong leadership skills coupled with knowledge in either Baggage Handling or Automated Warehousing.
The ideal candidates will have experience in the Installation and Commissioning processes of large capital projects. You must be able to balance competing priorities, delivering within deadlines and under pressure, whilst ensuring safe working and that the reputation of the company is maintained on-site. Ideally you will be Electrically / Mechanically qualified to HND/HNC or equivalent experience.
You will be involved in the technical assurance of projects during Installation and Commissioning phases to deliver within schedule and to budget all aspects of the installation and commissioning project process. All work will be carried out to CHS / BAA standards. Activities may include:
o Installation quality standards inspections
o Acceptance Testing documentation review/endorsement
o Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing
o Benchmarking activities across existing systems
o Review and recognition of project non-conformances
o Snagging assurance
o H&S reviews and site inspections
o Operational reviews
o Handover assurance
o Maintenance integration awareness
o Year one forecast maintenance plan
The annual salary based on a 40 hour week will be in the range of £35k - £45k plus employee bonus schemes, daily subsistence allowance and 25 days paid leave.
